China and France hold first consultation on maritime affairs
Tan Qingsheng, representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Boundary and Maritime Affairs, and Olivier Poivre-Darval, Ambassador for Polar and Maritime Affairs of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy of the President to the United Nations Ocean Conference, held the first China-France maritime affairs consultation in Beijing. The two sides discussed issues of common concern. Exchanged views on maritime-related issues.
