White House official says Israel has pledged to listen to U.S. views before launching ground operations against Rafah
According to reports from many media including the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House, said in an interview with an ABC program on April 28 that Israel has assured the United States that it will not take any action against the Israeli military. Before launching a ground operation in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, the United States will listen to its views.
