Liquid metal alloy helps produce artificial diamond under normal pressure
A research team led by the Institute of Basic Science (IBS) in South Korea used a liquid metal alloy composed of gallium, iron, nickel and silicon as a metal flux to generate artificial diamond at 1 atmospheric pressure and 1025°C. This result helps deepen basic scientific research and expand the scale of diamond growth in new ways.
