The Japanese pharmaceutical company "Kokutō" was ordered by the Toyama Prefectural Government of Japan to stop production and sales for 23 days and 22 days respectively for producing the gastrointestinal drug "Shoro Pill" with insufficient ingredients and then falsifying data for shipment. The decision will be officially implemented on April 30. Jidong has been known to falsify drug trial data for 30 years. Faced with doubts from the public and relevant parties, Jidong Company admitted that it had falsified drug test results since 30 years ago and apologized for its lack of awareness of compliance with regulations. The company promises to deal with this incident seriously, work hard to restore consumer trust, and conduct a thorough investigation to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
